Who We Are
We are a community of moms united by faith, purpose, and a shared desire to raise compassionate, faith-filled children. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, our nonprofit was created to help families live out the Christian faith through everyday actions—loving God, serving others, and building strong communities.
As mothers, we believe we are our children’s first and most important teachers. Through hands-on service projects, prayer, fellowship, and family-centered activities, we intentionally teach our children Christian values such as kindness, humility, generosity, and responsibility. We strive to show them that faith is not only something we believe, but something we live.
Our organization provides meaningful opportunities for children to serve alongside their families, fostering empathy, leadership, and a heart for those in need. By engaging in community service together, we help our children understand the importance of giving back and being the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
We are moms raising the next generation of servant leaders—grounded in faith, guided by love, and committed to making a difference.
How We Started
What began as a small group of moms gathering for Bible study has grown into a joyful movement of faith, service, and community. Miami Kids Serve - now proudly known as Florida Kids Serve - was founded by mothers who wanted to walk through the ups and downs of motherhood together while keeping Christ at the center of family life.
In 2021, we felt a clear calling: to teach our children not only about generosity, but to help them live it out. We began organizing monthly service projects that allowed our kids to serve others hands-on-- turning the abstract idea of giving into a real, meaningful experience. From packing blessing bags to supporting local causes, our children learned that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
As our community grew, so did our mission. What started in Miami has now expanded to Tampa and Doral, bringing together families across Florida who share the same heart for service. Through each project, we strive to nurture our children's inner motivation to give, believing that when generosity is planted early, it grows into a lifelong habit. We truly believe that giving promotes giving.
Today, Florida Kids Serve is more than a nonprofit - it's a community of families learning, serving, and growing together in faith. We share lessons, meaningful conversations, and monthly service projects designed to help parents raise compassionate, generous children.
