Saints of the Month...
Patron Saint of Ireland
Born in England in the 5th century
Kidnapped as a teenager by Irish pirates and held captive for 6 years.
During that time, he became Christian.
He claimed he heard God's voice which helped him escape captivity.
A few years later, he had visions of an angel who told him to return to Ireland.
While evangelizing, he used the three-leaf clover to explain the Doctrine of the Trinity
One plant, three leaves.
He died on March 17, which is why we celebrate St. Patrick's Day on this day.

Saint Adjutor
Saint Patrick
Patron Saint of swimmers, boaters, and yachtsmen.
Born in France, in 1073
He was fighting for the Church when he was captured in Jerusalem.
He miraculously escaped from his cell within a castle, and dove into the Mediterranean Sea.
He became a Benedictine monk and lived his life near the River Seine.
Many boatmen lost their lives in a nearby whirlpool.
St. Adjutor later had the opportunity to sail towards the whirlpool and said "It is as easy for God to free people from this whirlpool as it was for Him to free me from my chains". The whirlpool immediately became calm.
